In our leadership meeting this week, we were asked what was the best advice someone ever gave us. I went last. I’ve been given a lot of advice but knew which one I’d share.

Narrow your focus for bigger results.

How true in business this was for me. It’s easy to get distracted to do it all. Especially in when provide a service or software as a service.

Narrowing your focus is a way to bring order into our lives. It removes things from our attention allowing us to bring more order to what remains.

Therefore, making us more productive by increasing our capacity to do more work.

When you narrow your product or software focus, you can go deeper than competitors. Stop trying to do it all or provide it all. Go deep and be the best. Stay focused and tune out the noise.
